Hi all,

I hope someone can help me, We have and exchange 5.5 SP3 server running. I have turned off open relay (or as much as i can) but if a spammer ises the format spammer@our.ip.address then can use our server for spmming.... Does anyone know how to prevent this? or if the are any good and USEFUL articles on the net anywhere... Please help as we are now blacklisted and need to resolve this ASAP..

Thanks

To only allow a single host or client, enter in the format, IP=>full IP address of client< (i.e 1.1.1.1), MASK=255.255.255.255

To allow a range of IP address to relay, enter in the format, IP=>scope to allow< (i.e 1.1.1.0>, MASK=255.255.255.0. This will allow the address range of 1.1.1.1 - 1.1.1.254 to relay.
