STOP Errors during backup

Hello,

my server keeps rebooting after a STOP error while performing a backup of my hard drives.
The error is:
STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x0000000, 0x0000000, 0x0000000)

I'sm assuming it's a corrupt file. So I've performed a CHECKDISK on volume, and also run defrag too. Still problem persisits. Any ideas what could be wrong, or any other ways to check for corrupt files?
