Sterling Pound Sign 1

Using Microsoft Access 2000, I need to format a revenue field in a report to reflect the Sterling Pound. Any thoughts on how to do this easily?

The currency format is determined by your settings in the Control Panel, and you probably don't want to change that just for this report.

If you want to convert the currency to Pound Sterling, you could work out the conversion for that, based on currency exchange rates at the moment.

If you want to put the Pound Sterling sign in a label in front of the currency amount field, put NumLock on, hold down the Alt key and type 0163 on the your numeric keypad.

Hi,
You can use this format for your textbox. Change whatever sign you want to display instead of dollar sign.

"$."#,##0.00;"($."#,##0.00)

This worked great, but how will I remove the thousands separator? For some reason it appears. Here is what I have in place for this text field:

Input Mask: \£#,##0;\£#,##0;\£0;\£0

Results I see in the report:
£3,755
£5,431
£ ,105
£ ,628

I would love to get that comma out of there!

Hi,
The commas shown in red makes thousand separator. Try removing those.
\£#,##0;\£#,##0;\£0;\£0

Or
Try this format it is woking good on a form didn't tried on report. It should be OK.

£0;£0;£0;£0

Unfortunately, I'm not looking to remove the comma separator altogether, just when the value doesn't require one.

Use the following format instead

£#,##0;£#,##0;£0;£0

This is working fine in my database.
