I just finished (supposedly) putting a Barebone together. Hovewer, and sadly to say, but the comp doesn't boot, and all I hear is the fan turn on. I mean, there must be some configurations for the board to start perhaps. I just purchased an ASUS A7A266 at some convention, and I took it for granted to just put a computer together by just plugin in wires. Tell me, when you put a computer together, and in the end, are there some jumper settings or anything that you need to configure on your board? It may sound stupid, but I just wish that computers could just be build with automatic recognition from all the parts? This is my knowledge, when you turn on the computer, there are a series of steps that all computers go by. BIOS, floppy, CD Device, then Hard Drive, or whatever. I'm a quick learner, and does anybody have any suggestions to making this computer up and running?
