Status report from network plotter ???? 1

I am sending a batch of Autocad plots to a network plotter using Excel and visual basic (version 6.3). I can't get a status report from the plotter so that I can stop sending the plots when a fault occurs on the plotter.
I've looked in the "Available References" in excel but can't find a suitable tick box.

Here is an example of using the API to return information from the printer ...

You will have to do some more so read about the API's and search MS for Get Printer Status to hopefully find some more code.
