Status of trunks on T-1

I have installed my first 100DS1 with DID trunks in a Merlin Magic. Is there a way to check the status of the trunks. I think I have a problem with exts not disconnecting from the DID trunks. Also at time I have an amber light on the 100DS1, what does that indicate? Appreciate any ones help

Amber LED on DS1 board means it is in use.

Not disconnecting? - How are these trunks set up?

Tie Line - Wink Wink ? what?
