Status Bar Properties

The status bar on a form I've developed displays the table Description of a field when the cursor enters the text box for that field. A user has asked whether I could make the status bar words more prominent by changing the colors (perhaps a nice fluorescent green). I'm aware only of the option to display the status bar or not. Is it possible to change the color (or font weight) of its text?

You can change the font and its weight, but not its color. Open the properties for the status bar control, and choose the Custom property. The Font tab will let you change the font and weight for the panels.

If you need to change colors, I'd suggest using a Textbox or Label control to display the information.
