Station phone external call history

I am stumped! We have a CM 5.2 with Communication Manager Messaging. I know there is a way to display a history of external calls on a phone display. We use the 6400 series telephones and I can't get it to work.

This is how I have my station setup:
LWC Reception: SPE
LWC Activation: Y
LWC Log External Calls: Y

I have a message retrieval button and delete message button on my phone.

And in the System Parameter Features I have:
Number of External Calls Logged Per Station: 10

After I call my phone from an external line, I hit message retrieval button, hit the Next button and it says No Messages.

What am I missing???

Maybe you are not letting the call ring long enough to capture the data - I have seen this happen before.

I let it ring long enough to go into voicemail which is about 4 or 5 rings. Very frustrating.

The only difference for me is we have our 6400s on CM2.2 and the LWC Reception is Audix and not spe.

the 64XX series phones will only log one missed call and you need to have a delete-msg button on the phone. You also need to chnage system parameters feature and add the station to the list on page 2.
personaly I found it really annouying cause whenever I missed call my msg light would come on even if there was no voice mail.

On system-parameters features you have to set:
Maximum Number of Messages Per Station: 10
Maximum Number of External Calls Logged Per Station: 10
Message Waiting Indication for External Calls? y

on station you have to set:
LWC Activation? y
LWC Log External Calls? y

and buttons:
msg-retr
next
delete-msg
call-disp
