startup error

I rebooted my server and got the following message:

hh.exe - DLL initialization failed

Initialization of the dynamic link library C:\\WINNT\System 32\rasman.dll failed. Process is terminating abnormally.

Any help on what may be going on would be GREATLY appreciated.

RAS isn't working.
You could try applying/reapplying SP6A before anything else in the of it fixing things (It does a number of repairs to broken / badly registered files!).


If no better, then the best thing to do here is to remove RAS, reboot, readd RAS and then reapply SP6A.
Don't forget to take down all the values of your dial-up accounts / VPN accounts (if any) before doing the RAS removal.
Always apply SP6A after reinstalling ANY Windows components as a clean install of ANY components always puts them at SP1 level so SP6A is needed immediately after.
