starting service, sqlagent.rll could not be loaded.

Sql2000, Win2000 Server, Dell PowerEdge 6450,

When trying to start the SqlAgent, it times out with error 1053 - the service did not start in a timely fashion...

when i have the user for it set to Local System account and to interact with desktop, I get the following error, followed by the 1053 error above.

"Execution cannot continue as the language resource file
c:\program files\microsoft sql...\binn\resources\1033\sqlagent.rll could not be loaded."

the other Sql services are starting with out problems.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted..
played with changing the user account,......

i'm brain-dead.

Hopefully there is an Error or Warning in the Event viewer?

It's fixed, replaced sqlagent.exe, .dll, and .rll.
One of them was corrupted.
