Start up Access showing MAin menu!!!

hello. i just created a database and when i open it up
the main menu appears as well as the other window that
has all the objects (table, queries, forms, reports etc).
how do i get rid of this, so in future when i open up the
database i only get my main screen and nothing else?!

Goto to Tools, select Startup, Uncheck the Database Window checkbox.

And then just make sure your switchboard (or whatever form is seen first is in the Display Form box) and badabing, badaboom, you are all set.
