I deal with several different telco platforms, of which, several split the standard in and standard out streams into two different windows (parts of the same screen. In most of these cases, I have been able to access the target machine in a text mode, which uses the same port for the two streams. However, while this is the preferred case, it appears not to be possible with a particular machine. I believe I could use "sanpshot", and then write a function to sort through the captured data for the line of interest. But, I was wondering if it is possible, to read and capture the line used by the output stream? I have tried my old standby “RXDATA”, but it appears not to be focused on the output stream in this case. The active window is ProcomPlus telent.

If the streams appear in the same location in the Procomm window, you could use the termgets to read a particular row (or rows, if necessary) and save that value to a string variable which your script could then further parse to get the necessary information.

Thanks, That was all to simple! Don't know how I missed the
"termgets" message in the documentation.
