Hi,

I was wondering is 3.2.17 stable enough or should wait till the next version of 3.2.x to come out.

Hi

I have one new install running 3.2.17 and it seems stable.

This install is not running VM Pro though, so no comments there.

I was administering a 403DT 2.1(51)unit with the 3.2 Manager. All the Index phones DSS keys were configured with "User" etc. When I changed something in short codes with 3.2 Manager all the quotes were removed from the DSS keys. I had to redo all the the DSS again with quotes with an 2.1 Manager.

We upgraded our office 403 to 3.2. The labeling for the Appearance tabs was fouled up. Otherwise, no problems as of yet.

Sounds good.

I think I will take a shot of upgrading from 3.0.69.

I tried 3.1.x and it was a little buggy for me.

I have 3.2 running on our 403 also with VM Pro, haven't run into any problems yet.

Be sure to follow the directions in the technical bulliten carefully.

We experienced a small problem with voice mail Pro.

We upgraded our own office system today - testing for our office before we implement for our customers.

I check my voice mail messages. System says I have 4 new messages (for example). Listen to #1, and delete. #2 and delete. #3 and delete. #4 and delete. Then it plays message #5 (???). Dead air. Delete. Message #6. dead air. delete. Message #7. dead air. delete. Message #8. dead air. delete.

This keeps happening and only started with 3.2.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

I installed a 406 3.2 (17) with VMPro, 5420's, 5410's, 3626's, softconsole, and phone manager pro IP. System has been up and running for 2 weeks now and have not had any problems so far.

If your system runs fine today and you don't need any of the new features you probably shouldn't upgrade.
Waiting for the next 3.2 release doesn't really guarantee anything since there been bugs appearing before in second version releases, some pretty major.
There are already know issues that ain't gonna be fixed before 3.2 sept or 4.0 so check that list first since you though 3.1 was to buggy and all the 3.1 bugs aren't fixed yet.

Saying this I can also say that been running 3.2 fine and fixed some bugs especially with twinning that your customers will be happy about.

I had the VM (dead air) issue during the beta trials. Hasn't happened on the GA but once, which I felt could have been the far end of the call. If it happened again, was going to report it.

V3.2 seems robust so far
there are a number of known issues from the dfield trials & a few more that have co to light recently but none of them would currently be classified as "show Stoppers".

However stick with the rule of "if it aint brioke dont fix it" & only upgrade if you need V3.2 features
