Had an issue with SSA disappearing off the screen on a laptop when launched. I read all the earlier threads about Java but still the same.

Then I plugged an external monitor in and it was there! Obviously I can't carry this around but the laptop must have been used for a presentation at some time.

I then pressed [Windows} + [P] and turned off extended mode as it seems Windows doesn't always realise if an external monitor has been connected.

Now back in action!

Pretty normal with 100s of programs, not just SSA.

I can list lots of applications that don't like multiple monitors. Then applications that can cope but only if monitors 1, 2, 3 are arranged from horizontally left to right. And then applications that can't cope if you have one set of multiple monitors in one location, and a different arrangement in a different locations (the joys of hot desking). Since SSA is Java this is not really an SSA issue, its a Java issue.

When I hit an app with the problem I usually go through task manager, right-click on the process and the maximize application option with center it full screen on one of the monitors.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

? WHich one. There are 15 keys on my keyboard marked with arrow symbols and that's pretty standard. :)

If the unseen monitor is to the right of the main screen, pressing Windows plus Shift plus LEFT arrow button will move it to the screen to the left (main screen in this case)

I have 2 external monitors on my office laptop - screen 2 to the right of the main monitor via the VGA output, screen 3 to the left of the main monitor via a USB2VGA adapter.

Windows plus DOWN (no shift) will downside a window, Windows plus UP (no shift) will maximize a window

Once downsized, Windows plus Right (no shift) will make it full screen top to bottom, but 1/2 screen to the right of the active screen

At this point, ANOTHER Windows plus Right will move it to the next screen to the right, full screen top to bottom, 1/2 screen to the left of the now active screen.

Any of the left or right ones :)

Softconsole and vmpro client does this as well.

Depending on the URI configuration the ICR can be completely ignored.

If your URI is configured to use internal data then the IP Office will look into the user's SIP tab and if you have *'s it will look into ICR.

A madman with a taste for speed.
