Hi, i'm trying to use a Squirrel ws6i pos computer for a personnal project but cannot make the touchscreen to work. Are anyone able to find the Linux device driver for this touchscreen or the built/source of the linux kernel used for these? They boot with etherboot from a tftp on the server, this is open source code but I can't find it. If someone have info or a copy of the tftpboot folder of a compatible Squirrel server this will help me a lot !!

Thanks for your help !
Simon

It's not as easy as just getting the boot folder.

This is a link to an article on how the squirrel terminal communicates with the server.

Thanks but i already read this article and i know how it communicate with the server. I already compiled a working etherboot file for the ws6i and everything from the net, display, keyboard and serial ports work fine. The only problem it that the touchscreen controller is a special one and I cant find how to communicate with it. I only want the device driver for it and maybe conf file. With the boot file, i can extract the already compiled device driver, or at least know what link it use to send touch points to the cpu and write a new driver based ont this...

I received a confirmation directly by Pavel T., the writer of the article you linked that this is not a standard driver or communication method, but as he work for SQ Systems, he cannot provide me the driver. The touch panel is a standard one but the controller is a "in house" controller.
