SQL Server is unavailable or does not exist ?Resolution??

I cannot connect SQL Enterprise Manager 6.5 on my machine when not booted into our network!&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>I've installed 6.5 and can connect to my machine as a server when I'm in the network, but outside of the network, I get the following error:<br><br>&nbsp;A connection could not be estabished to 'machine name / server here' - [DB-Library] Unable to connect:&nbsp;&nbsp;SQL Server is unavailable or does not exist <br><br>I have looked everywhere and am confused when I can connect to the local (my machine server) when I'm booted into the network.<br><br>The following services:<br><br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;SQL Executive is started<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;MSSQL Server is started<br><br>I'm sure I'm missing something VERY BASIC.&nbsp;&nbsp;Any help?<br>
 
You do not have permission on the network. I ran across this just yesterday and it turned out to be that the username used in the connectino was not trusted/or did not have permission o nthe network.
