hi, is it possible to populate a sql server ce database from a rss feed using visual studio 2008 and c#? and if so could you show me an example?

yes you can. the 3 components (sql ce, rss and c#) are independent of one another. it's you job to get them working together.
there are examples of this online. here are some phrases to google
1. get rss feed using c#
2. sql server ce c#
any other phrase similar to this.
I doubt you will find all the code written for you, but all the pieces are somewhere on the web. you just need to find them and piece them together.
