I've scheduled my SQL Server 2000 to make full backups or a particular database (using Enterprise manager)
I've set the database to be backed up to a file.
In the same window, I can choose 2 options : append to the media, or overwrite the backup media.
How affect these settings a backup to file/disk ?
Does 'append' add the database to the backup database every time ?
Does 'overwrite' deletes the backup database and rebuilds a new backup database from scratch ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work
