hi everyone,

First, are you using the SQL Server 2000 Resource Kit and is it worthwhile?

Then... where/how do you get it? Do you have to be a subscriber of MS TechNet ?

thanks! John

No im not, some usefull stuff but not to much.

came in the sql server 2000 resource kit book i got

i proably wouldnt bother at this point with sqlserver 2005 so close to coming out

It's also terribly expensive, if you can find a copy. I heard it was going for at least twice the original price on EBay, if not more.

Actually ... most copies are going for about $200 ... almost 3 times the initial cost of $69. I did however see a copy on Amazon a few days ago for $30 or so ... may want to check it out if you are interested.

It does however has some decent info ... but not for 200 clams!

Thanks

J. Kusch

wow i had no idea it was so expensive. i would mabye rate it worth the price i orginally paid for it. certenally not more than that

thanks everyone. I think I'll skip it. If I haven't learned everything there is to know about SQL Server 2000 by this time, maybe it's time to move on to 2005 :)
