Hello,

I am considering upgrading my Access database to SQL Server 2000, which from what I am reading only installs on a Windows server....Does anyone know of a connectivity kit that will allow it to install on a Netware 6 server?

A point to consider: MySQL is open-source, and will run on just about every OS known. Why not convert your data to a format that will migrate from OS to OS as your needs change? Then you're never faced with this problem again. (theoretically, anyway)

I have some old Oracle NLMs....
But seriously folks.

SQL server is the only reason to buy Windoze.
Its tops in all the benchmarks.
DBA talking here.
2005 will only be better.

MySQL aint bad for free........
No enterprise features, but it runs on everything.
Heck my Timex has MySql............

Oracle is the best database there is. It runs on a lot of platforms but not on NetWare. The last version to run on NetWare is 8.1.7.2.5. It also has 22 international security certifications to SQL Server's 1.

If you are looking for something with more features than MySQL, then PostGreSQL also runs on Netware.
