I've seen similar issues when there is mpore than 1 version of Access loaded on a PC. As mentioned, review the library references. Also, check out the priority of these library references. The issue I had was that a function was referenced in Excel, and the function I wanted was in Access-97 Utility library. Changing the order of priority fixed the issue for me.. htwh,

I believe it is related to issues with precedence of libraries or other DLL References in the PC's Windows registry. In my case, I had the flexibility to convert the system(s) to Access-XP and.or have the PC's wiped clean and re-imaged with MS Access 97, 2000 and XP installed in the appropriate order. I found a white paper somewhere on the net that discussed loading (3) versions of Access... could not locate link though...
