Hi
I am setting up the connection for the web. However, when I am open the browser over 20 nmins, the connection fails. How can I leave the connnection on forever until the browser is closed. In other words, how can I let the SQL server in the connecting state rather than sleeping state?
Please help me.Thanks [sig][/sig]

The combination Web Browser <-> Web server is stateless. That means browser send request, server send response. To send response server runs a single routine, that, when finished, clears out all variables, include connection to SQL server. Depended on tools you use for your WEB application you may organize sessions, that can contain valuable information for the limited time until you suggest that user still use browser. For example, you can store by such way connection handle. For MS Developer Studio it is Session object.
