SQL Backup to UNC path

I would like to backup my SQL7 db to a network share on a regular basis - I have a simple script that does the backup fine from the copy on my laptop but when I run it on the server it fails - I'm guessing this is an authentication issue.

What do i need to change in order to get this running?

You need to make sure the SL Server login account is a domain user and has appropriate permissions on the destination server and path. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
