I am trying to determine the correct length of the FLEN in my SPNs.
I have SPNs set up for our internal 7 digit dialing plan. Our AC2 is 8 and that gets us to our SPNs. For instance, one of sites is SPN 755 and the users dial 8+755+XXXX to get someone at that office. Under that scenario, what should my FLEN be? In the RLI pointed to we re-insert the 8 so that when the call gets to the other site it will look at the SPN's at that site. If passing through that site to others, the SPN's kick in, if ending at the 755 site, then the HLOC del 3 so that only the last 4 digits come into play.
Bottom line, should the FLEN be 4 or 7 or ? or does it really matter?
Thanks.
