Splitting a domain, Exchange organization

I'm a new administrator where I work, and we are spliting one dorganization into two. We will both use AD 2003. I can use ADMT 2.0 to move user accounts from one domain to another. My problem is, how can I move email accounts from Domain A's Exchange 5.5 server to Domain B's (mine) Exchange 2003 server?

I have tried this once already and got an error about not being able to move mailboxes form DomainA's exchange organization to mine (different Exchange organization name). Can someone give me a step by step example from somewhere (nothing I find online covers this situation)? I appreciate any help.

the ADC needs to be inter-org type.
