Splash Screen At startu of word

is there any way to disable this? or is there some setting somewhere that i could use to make word always open as a minimized screen.
im using word 2003 and windows xp

ok i figured this one out for anybody who might be interested. u need to pass the parameter /q to word when u call it to remove the Splash Screen at startup.

Hi. How are you calling Word? I am guessing that you are using a shell command, to be able to pass the /q.

Do you know if there is a way to pass that parameter using GetObject to open an instance of Word?
