Spinner/POP text

I am using the Max and Min in my Spinner Object in a form that is in my top level form. As i do not need it i hide the VFP Window. However when the user enter outside the range the pop does not apear in my form (but in the hidden VFP window. Does anyone know how to fource this to popup in my form?

PS. the other way i know is to make a valid and do my own popup.

Paul,

When you say 'pop', do you mean the little wait window message that opens in the top right corner of the screen?

If so, the way to get rid of it is SET NOTIFY OFF

yes however my client wants it so i want it 2 show. Is the best thing to do is make my own?

Paul,

Yes. Just set the KeyboardHighValue and KeyboardLowValue back to their default. Then, in your Valid, check the values. If they are outside the limits, launch a new modal form with the error message. Be sure that that form has its ShowWindow set to In Toplevel Form.

Also, be sure that the message form is smaller than the main form, otherwise it will be clipped.
