Speed Dial on Avaya 9650

Is it possible for the end user to set up their own speed dial keys on a 9650? Is there something I have to do on the management side first? I have seen multiple user guides showing the speed dial keys, but nothing that says HOW to create one.

Thank you in advance for any help provided. I am using IP Office version 8

I believe there is an option for user to program soft keys in the menu.

Try the "Contacts" button above the "1" then press 3 or 4 times > then you should see personal.
