all win95 workstations running netware clinet 3.1 in one segment of the network not able to attach to any of my netware 4.11 servers including server located in same segment. error is "specified server is unknown". all other workstations in different segment working fine and can connect to all servers. weird problem...any help will be appreciated.

Ensure that in the Advancd section of the Client login box, the server in the "server" field is valid -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"
-----------------------------------------------------

As it is only one segment and the whole of that segment I would look to the NIC in the server or cabling.

You do say "Win95" clients, if you have other DOS clients that work then ignore this.

i figured what the problem is...it was an ipx address conflict with a newly added serial sub interface in the router. Thanks folks for your suggestions.
