I have a remote location that I cannot copy large files or backup large files from. Small files copy fine but large file will give me the error:

"Cannot copy filename, the specified network name is no longer available"

I have looked at every possible area and cannot find the problem, anyone ever seen this?

It is not:

The hub
network cards
router

Looks like a rpc error. The large file traffic coupled with other network traffic may be causing your rpc link on the network to be swamped and break.

What OS are the clients and server? Have you disabled SMB signing on both sides?
