Fellows,

Hey, I got this problem here. Normally when we plug in our headsets / earpiece to our laptop, the speakers would switch off and the music or sound would be played through the headset right?

However, my problem is when I plug in my headset, both the speakers and headset worked at the same time, which means I hear both the music playing thru the speakers and headset. How do I solve this issue? I wanna only listen to my headset when I plug them in to my computer but not the speaker.

Also, my laptop's integrated mic and even its headset built-in mic is not functioning but when I tried to use the headset to another computer it works.

I found out that to use headset alone without having any sounds from its built-in speakers is to turn the mute ON "first" then plug in the headset jacks BUT then when you turn the mute "OFF" you may hear the sounds in speakers and in headsets.

Please advise
