When we are typing a letting MSWord, some words will have spaces between them. These spaces are small, but annoying.
Also some sentences, if not to the right end of the screen, will spaces themself out so they fit to the end of the screen.
Anyone have an idea what may be causing this?
We are using MSWord 2002.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

It appears that you have selected a paragraph alignment (format) known as "Distributed." It's much like the old "forced justify" and does just what you're describing.

The fix is Format > Paragraph > Indents and Spacing tab > General > Alignment > and then select anything other than "Distributed."

It's a useful format; just not everywhere!
