is there a way to space command buttons so they are all evenly spaced across or up and down? i have 6 buttons i would like evenly spaced with 3 across 2 down. with a little space between. is there an easy way to do this ot am i going to have to to it the hard way and take the width of the buttons and position them using the "left" property? Hopefully there is an easeier way.

Thanks,
Smiley

There's no way to "automatically" doing it, but there are tools built in to access that will help you. First off in form design view click Format and make sure "Snap to Grid" has a check mark next to it. Then size one button to the size you would like. Once that button is sized change all the other buttons size to one that is larger than the perfectly sized one. Once the others are all larger, highlight ALL the buttons. Now click Format-->Size-->To Shortest and all the buttons will size to the "Perfect Button" in height. Then click Format-->Size-->To Narrowest and all the buttons will size to the "Perfect Button" in width. Now start lining them up which is easy with the "Snap to Grid" feature enabled.

There are also space evenly Horizontal & Vertical options on the format menu. Locate the two opposite corner command buttons where desired. make sure the remaining are 'in the general area and order desired. Select the group. Do the two commands.
