sp_spaceused results

When looking at the values sp_spaceused returns for a table, do I add data and reserved to see how much space, or is reserved the total amount of space used by the table
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Reserved is total space taken up. Data is how much actual space data is being used. You can also have indexs and unused space.
