Hello, after installation of SP4 I still may open FinePixViewer for Camera Fuji S304. The first couple of fotos are loaded but then FinePixViewer freezing. No chance to work at all anymore. The application FinePixViewer can only be switched off when switching off the camera itself. Any hints?
Thank you
Ulli

In Device Manager, look at the Driver details for this camera. You want to see if you are using Microsoft PTP drivers or Fuji. (The Microsoft driver is called ptpusd.dll).

This issue may occur because the PTP driver supplied by Microsoft has the following limitations:
• File transfers are limited to 2048 files at one time.
• Files must be less than 210 megabytes (MB).

If this is the cirumstance, call Microsoft tech support and see if there is a hotfix for the issue under Win2k. There is under XP.

Otherwise, call Fuji.

Hello "bcastner",
The camera ist not listed in the device manager, propably because it will be attached to the PC by means of an USB cable. However, everything worked fine prior installation of SP4. Repeated installation of the USB-driver (included in the FinePixViewer-Software) did not solve the problem either. Any other hint?
Thank you very much

Hello bcastner,
Even I have not been in a position to solve the problem as of yet, I like to thank you for your time. It seems to be there are more problems (Word/Excell/Access97 cannot be opened anymore, Access 2000, yes). I shall spent some time at the weekend to start from scratch one - "Format C:\" probably.
