I'm upgrading SP on an 8300 and it failed saying the default passwords needed to be changed. I changed admin, ldap and cust from the web UI. From the CLI I logged in as admin.. su'd to root and did the pssword command and changed root. I'm still getting a fail on the upgrade saying the root password needs to change. Did I do this somewhere incorrectly?

Actually, I am still having an issue. I have now logged into the CLI of CDOM and changed the password for root. It indicated all password tokens were updated and I've su'd to root multiple times with the new password successfully. I re-launched the upgrade and it failed again due to the default root password not being updated. When I go back to the CLI my updated password reverted back to the default.

change root password on both cdom and dom0. Then try your upgrade.
