Hi all, I'm trying to get an Analog SoundStation 2 to work for conference calls.

When the user is pressing the Conference button, it just shows FLASH on the screen but doesn't put the call on hold (so cant get past step 2 below!).

I understand the process is:

1) Dial your first party
2) Once connected to the first person, hit the conference key
3) Dial another party, once connected hit conference key
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to dial additional parties as required
5) After you have dialed all your parties press conference key again to get dial tone once more
6) Next dial *47

Anything I need to change short-code or analog extension wise?

If there is a way to adjust the Flash timer within the Soundstation's setting, make sure it is set to 600ms to match the flash timing of the IPO.

Forget about the conf buttond and get yourself an IP Office user manual for analog phone.

The I ques you call a doctor to make an appointment to fix your b......

Since the conf button is not gonna work ....

The Conference button on the Polycom Soundstation is the Flash button - check the Flash time in the Polycom and check the Minimum and Maximum Width of the Flash Hook Pulse Width on the Analogue tab of the extension.

I've never done more than a 3 party conference call with a single line device, perhaps you will need to place the first call, Flash (conference button), call the next party, Flash, dial *47 to bring you and the 2 parties together, then Flash, dial the 4th party, Flash, dial *47 to bring you and the 3 parties together, etc.

Or make a conference bridge and simply transfer folks to the bridge, then call the bridge yourself.
