I have a Dell 8250 desktop.I ran a lot of tests with no answers. I use 5.1 speaker setting on pc. Everytime I reboot I lose the settings and goes back to desktop speaker settings. I used a download called sherlock, which scanned and reported everything working as it should on my pc. Is there a registry fix so I dont have to keep resetting xp everytime I reboot. I have a 200gig hd with 1.5 gig memory not using a lot of memory or gigs. Also use System Mechanic Pro ver.5 Roxoi 7 System Suite. I already have sp 2 update runs great other than speaker setting problem.
