Hello - I want to add a message that plays when the switchboard form is opened. I have gotten it to play when I attach to a control button but I want it to play when the form is first opened only. I know nothing of writing codes so if someone can help me, it would be much appreciated.

Take your code from the button and put it in the form's OnOpen event procedure.

I didn't write a code, I just used a hyperlink to get to the sound from my hard drive. There isn't the option on Form properties to go to a link.
