Hi... hope this question doesn'tlook to bad but I can't get it to work the way I think it should.
W2000 with Metaframe XP FR2, MS Office 97. Running with all applications being published, no desktop sessions.
I want to have powerpoint run with sound enabled.
I have checked the the session configuration to have audio mapping enabled. Client side is set to use server defaults. Powerpoint published app has been changed to Enable audio. All other aps have Audio Disabled
With this setup if powerpont is run first and is the first app the client uses to connect to a server then it will have sound, but so will any other apps run on the same server.
If another app is run first that doesn't have audio and then powerpoint is run and excutes on the same server then poerpoint will not play audio.
It seems that Audio is dependant on the first connected session to the server, it then enables or disables audio for all apps and the audio setting in the indivdual published apps is ignored.
Is this correct as I thought that I could enable sound for 1 app and have no sound for the rest???
