sound corruption SB PCI64 under win2k

hi,
i had installed win2k. since sound looks like parasited or with some echo.

sound from CD are correct.

my sound card is a Soundblaster PCI64, works with WDM drivers.

i tried:

- to install, remove, install, drivers from creative labs
- remove card, reboot, desinstall drivers, install card in an other PCI slot .
- swithc PCI latency to 0 in MB bios
- verify MB bios is up to date.
- remove ACPI

need some heeelp please.

SB64PCI is in w2k compatibility list.

config:
asus p2b / bios 1012
PIII 600Mhz / 256Mo ram
SB PCI64
MSI geforce 2 mx
CD burner
DVD reader.
