How do I control the volume of the speake, is there any control that it could be done through?

This link (courtesy of DirectX4VB.com) provides you with a control for MP3 Manipulation using DX8+

It lets you control play, pause, stop, volume and more!
I use it and it's fantastic.
The code provides the full source code and an example project showing its uses.

No Yoshi, mmfried isn't my name.
Thanks for the idea, but that doesn't solve the problem.
I'm using a spesific player, the format of the files I'm playing aren't recognizd by any DirectX player. What I need is to control the sound volume (to tune it) not through a player, if there's any other Ideas let me know pleasse
