Recently, I purchased a Creative Sound Blaster PCI512 sound card. I installed it without a problem, but then when I tried to install the drivers, i got an error that said "Windows couls not install the drivers. Error code 69" does anyone know what that means? 10010101110101111100010101101

Try using later drivers from Creative's website. Error 69 usually means there is an "issue" with the drivers you are trying to install. I can't be more specific, because this is a non-specific error message (so Microsoft tell me).

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

I tried to use the newest drivers from creative, and I got the same thing. It also happens when I try to install the drivers to a Monster Sound MX300 card. 10010101110101111100010101101

Have you tried re-seating the sound card, or moving it to another slot? Jennifer Sigman

Using command prompt and typing in net helpmsg 69
results in
The network bios session limit was exceeded

I am though running XP you could try that on your machine ans see if it will explain the error to you.
