Hello,

I would like to sort a spreadsheet to display only unique records by a particular column.

In column A, this spreadsheet contains program names. There are multiple occurrences of the same names:

Eg:

Program1
Program1
Program1

Program2
Program2

How can sort this spreadsheet so that only the first occurrence of each unique program name displays?

Thanks

Hi

Select the column. Go to to Data >filter > Advanced filter and then 'tick / selct' the unique records, only box. After this you can sort the column if, the column do not sort by default. :->
