I'm working with a Range of data in Excel, and what I need to do is operate on only those items that fall between two thresholds. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find an easy way to sort and filter a row of data. Is there a simple way to do this?

Hi,

HAve you tried using the AutoFilter?

Let me clarify. As part of a macro, I need to copy the appropriate items in this set of data to another part of the worksheet, then fill out other cells based on these items. I don't believe this is possible with AutoFilter. If it is, would you please elaborate?

1. Filter

2. Copy

3. Paste Special - Values

And take a look at SpecialCells

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thank you both for your replies. However, I still cannot find a way to apply the autofilter command to a row of data and not a column, and SpecialCells is only helpful for identifying cells by the type of data that they contain, not their actual numerical value, as I need.

Sort/Filter only apply to columns of data.

You'll have to loop thru the values in the row to do what you want, it seems.

Ths other possibility is to copy the row(s) of data and Paste Special - TRANSPOSE.

Then apply sort/fitler.
