Hi Guys, I am new to your forum and in hopes that someone could possibly shed some light on a problem that I am having with a client. Their configuration consists of a HQ with MS2003 Small Bus Server with 3meg DSL going out thru a SonicWall 170. The remote office consists of 4 XP computers with a 3meg cable access going thru a SonicWall 150. The VPN tunnel shows that it is configured correct and that the tunnel is active. The remote XP computers access a database on the 2003 HQ Server. Both offices have direct access to the internet and is very fast 2.4meg or better. The problem is accessing files from the server. An XLS of 215k in size might take an entire minute to open. Any idea what would cause this? The bigger databases takes up to 3 minutes in some cases. Ping times are fast in both directions. I haven't a clue maybe one of you will I hope.
Completely Baffled,
Mike

What about just copying a file from one site to the other?

Also what is your guarentied upload?

There are bandwidth testers that will test your upload and download. Try this one See what you get at both sites. I would also try a few others testers just to be acurate.
