Has anyone ever had experiece with using Microsoft’s NetMeeting and the Sonicwall? I know that I can use one-to-one NAT and open ports to allow connectivity from the outside but I have over 325 clients that would like to use the application. This just isn’t going to work.

Someone told me that I could set up an ILS server on the DMZ port of the firewall and it would handle communications with the NAT’d clients. I can’t seem to find any information on this. Has anyone done this before? Any information would be appreciated.

I believe you just need to open up the appropriate ports for net meeting. I can't recall what they are but I have used netmeeting through a sonic wall. I think there are 5 different ports.

joepc,

Have you used multiple netmeeting clients behind the firewall or was it for just one client. I can open the firewall ports but without one-to-one NAT on the internal clients, I'm not sure how customers from the outside would see the machines that were behind the firewall.

Thanks,
