Hello all,

We recently set up OWA on SSL. The site can be accessed via http(s):// internally and externally.
Both the Exchange 2K and OWA servers are Win2K sp4 with Exchange 2K sp3 applied.
This is in a Windows 2000 domain.

My account works fine either internally, or externally, with http or https.

Another users's account works fine internally with http.
Externally with http, he gets a "The page cannot be found" error after responding to the logon prompt.
Internally or externally with https, he gets a "The page cannot be displayed" error after responding to the logon prompt.
Both accounts are admin accounts, and the issue has been seen with other admin accounts as well.

I compared our accounts is AD Users and Computers, and found no difference.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've checked off both Basic Authentication and Integrated Windows Authentication.

So he can access OWA interally via http?

Reset his password and see if you can access it externally. It may simply be his browser. I myself have had a very similar issue.

I was able to access OWA internally, and externally, but not from my home computer. Never narrowed it down to the exact problem, I beileve it may have been java related, but after a format (because of other issues), it worked with no problems.

Resolution: The OWA server actually stored the good mailbox on it. It wasn't supposed to be a data store. It also did not have an enterprise license which was needed with the second server on line. OWA was moved to the first server along with the cert, and the NAT translation was repointed on the firewall.
