Ok the story goes like this. After alot of wasted hours and pain I found out that solaris8 x86 could not be installed on a Pentium 4 system, because some Intel CPU programmer did not include in the instruction set the info needed for Solaris. ( I wander if that's true). Anyway, the question is if someone has installed the latest version ( solaris 9 ) succesfully. Because I will install it at a clients site. Thanks.
