I have downloaded and md5 verified the dvd version of solaris 10. When I burn it in nero express it seems to work fine but the cd is not bootable. I can see all the files on it on windows and have tried this 2 times. Are there any instructions for burning bootable images with nero express, I am not going to pay $99.00 for Easy Media Creator.

In Nero you're going to want to select the "Burn CD Image" option (or words to that effect). Then you will get a dialog box asking you where the image is. I think you have to pull down the "filetype" menu and choose *.iso. Once you do that, it should burn. You can test the success of your burn by trying it in any system that can boot a CD.
